Ram Kumar Madhwani is the founder of Mayur Kulfi, a brand built on tradition, hard work, and generations of experience in the food and beverage industry of Udaipur.
Born into the renowned Madhwani family, Ram Kumar Madhwani carried forward the legacy started by his father, Varand Mal Madhwani, who established the famous Lakshmi Soda Water Factory in 1962. From a young age, he learned the values of dedication, quality, and customer satisfaction.
He began his entrepreneurial journey with Mayur Juice Center, turning a small family business into a trusted local name. Despite facing major challenges—including a devastating fire in 2004 and severe financial hardships—he never gave up. With determination and passion, he rebuilt the business from the ground up and introduced traditional handmade kulfi to the people of Udaipur.
Starting with classic Rabdi Kulfi and later innovating with rich Mawa Kulfi and unique flavors, Ram Kumar Madhwani transformed Mayur Kulfi into a symbol of authentic taste and purity. His vision was simple: to serve premium-quality kulfi made with traditional methods and genuine ingredients.
Today, under his guidance and with the support of the next generation, Mayur Kulfi proudly serves families, tourists, and leading hotels across Udaipur, continuing a legacy of flavor, trust, and heritage that began over 80 years ago.
Karan Madhwani is the Co-Founder of Mayur Kulfi and represents the new generation of innovation, creativity, and modern vision behind the brand. Carrying forward his family’s rich legacy in beverages, soda, and traditional kulfi, he combined heritage with contemporary ideas to take Mayur Kulfi to a wider audience.
Growing up in a family deeply connected to the food and hospitality industry of Udaipur, Karan learned the art of customer service, flavor creation, and business management from an early age. Inspired by the traditional recipes and entrepreneurial spirit of his father, Ram Kumar Madhwani, he stepped into the business with a fresh perspective and modern branding ideas.
In 2018, he launched his first venture, Fountain Soda and Kulfi, and later introduced Thick Shake Bar in 2019 at Rajeev Gandhi Food Court. His concept uniquely blended his grandfather’s famous soda legacy with his father’s authentic kulfi expertise, creating a modern experience rooted in tradition.
Even after facing business challenges and intense market competition, Karan never stopped working toward his vision. With dedication and innovation, he continues to expand the reach of Mayur Kulfi, serving premium kulfi and desserts to customers and leading hotels across Udaipur.
